The ferry I took to Jeju was like a cruise ship, but my friend had an experience with a horrible ferry there too. Must've been the one you were on, unfortunately :) I don't understand why they vary so much in quality but cost nearly the same!

I've just found your blog after reading "neverseconds" and your comments on the Korean Ferries reminded me of a ferry I caught to Jeju. Let's say I can understand your thoughts on the "less nice" ferry!
Also the rest days. I don't travel the way i used to and I think I enjoy it much more when I'm slow traveling.
Great blog, I'll be keeping on reading.
Cheers

ChrisThu, 30 Aug 2012 00:10:49 +0000/?p=1218#comment-473This post makes me remember my one round the world vacation/business trip to London, Mumbai, and Melbourne over 2 weeks. While I got to see the sights along the way, it would have been better had I a morning or two to burn sleeping in or lounging in front of the tv - instead it was go-go-go to fit in fun around work. It sounds like you're having a great time. Keep up the good work. This post makes me remember my one round the world vacation/business trip to London, Mumbai, and Melbourne over 2 weeks. Portobello's looks like a great place.Thankfully, I still can travel and all that without getting tired. I guess it’s the excitement of traveling. Portobello’s looks like a great place.

LaneTue, 28 Aug 2012 20:02:16 +0000/?p=1218#comment-460I totally get this. Always in the middle of our trip we schedule a "vacation" from our vacation. It also allows you to just "be".I totally get this. Always in the middle of our trip we schedule a “vacation” from our vacation. It also allows you to just “be”.
