Hi Britta, A friend’s Korean co-worker booked the place and I actually have no idea what it was called! If you can have a Korean speaking friend look on Naver. There are a lot of guesthouses in the area but many don’t have English sites!

Like you your first year, I almost went, but decided against it in the end. Hearing from people who’ve gone and reading about it since, I am still unable to decide if I missed out or not. Parts of it sound really fun, but I can’t imagine enjoying it for more than an hour or so. Either way, my chance has passed, so I guess I’ll never know.

It books up so quickly, especially because of all the big groups that go. I think Mud Fest is one of those things that if you go, it’s cool but if you miss it it’s not something to be hugely disappointed about.

Ah man, I really wanted to go, but by the time I made the decision, all the tour groups/hostels/pension houses were full. I really hate crowds though, so maybe I made the right decision after all!

I knew Mud Fest was popular, but in no way did I expect that many people to be there. I had a lot of fun for one day. I have no idea how the people who did it on Sunday too managed!

I was there too! I found the crowds a bit overwhelming (should have anticipated this, obviously) and didn’t really want to stand in line… also I got slammed by rain after I was showered, at the K-Pop concert… it wasn’t my favorite but it was certainly unique!
